This rate increases in second and third marriages and seems to be just as high with Christians as with the rest of society. Ministers and their families often experience spiritual, emotional, and relational needs. Too often, these needs can be ignored or minimized as they attempt to minister to others. Sometimes these issues mean loss of ministry, loss of ordination, questioning of calling, uncertainty of vocation, loss of marriage, turmoil in the family, etc. This ministry is headed by Dr. Phil Ladd, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Ordained Minister. Dr. Phil and our other theologically trained staff members can provide psychological services such as testing, psychotherapy, and support to help in this process of restoration and reconciliation, both for the individual and the family.
Our trained psychologists assess veterans who are seeking compensation and pension benefits for mental health conditions. Many of the conditions such as PTSD, depression and anxiety are commonly incurred during combat and other various military traumas. Other veterans are privately referred from their local Vet Center and/or a specific Veteran Service Officer. We welcome veterans to contact us using whichever means that is most comfortable, whether it is contacting us directly to inquire about an appointment or seek referrals from other sources. Please contact us to discuss your assessment or mental health treatment needs. We look forward to serving those who have served.
